Your story is an example of determination in life! Could you please describe us the difficulties you faced during this long way?
My story is the one which tells how you can fulfill your dreams even you if you have to cope with integration, language, financial issue starting from nothing and reaching the hill top.
Becoming a full academic professor of surgery in France is extremely difficult and there are many requirements: having a recognized clinical and surgical expertise, travelling a lot, supervising teams, being efficient in scientific publications, being a good teacher and a powerful leader etc.
Becoming professor also requires being driven by a "good ambition", that is, one that gives you the strength to move forward, to surpass yourself in your work with patience and perseverance.
Understanding this challenging aspects also means to gain maturity with time. At the end, you can imagine that it is even more difficult when you are a woman, a mother, and born in a foreign country (south Asia).
We imagine how difficult will be to balance such a heavy workload with the family.
Indeed I feel busy with family and work. But family is your support to work and work allows the children to be proud of their mother. My sons are my biggest fans. I consider every decision in my life as choices and not sacrifices.
Great to know that you practice Guzheng, we would like to hear you playing!
It will be my pleasure to share this passion with you. With this Chinese zither, I feel "zen" even if I have spent a busy day.
